Online Accessibility Policy
1. This policy is for all who may use our online resources including our websites, apps and digital products (together the “Services”).
2. We aim to provide an inclusive digital experience that supports equal access, dignity, independence and usability, regardless of ability or assistive technology used.
3. It covers both new, and where reasonably practicable, existing content.
4. Our approach to accessibility is designed and informed by UK law such as The Equality Act 2010 but also United States, Australian, EU and Canadian law as far as possible.
5. As our Services can be accessed globally, where laws in different jurisdictions may place different requirements on us, we have applied the highest possible accessibility standard.
6. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium.
7. To support accessibility, we may implement measures such as:
semantic HTML and proper heading structures;
keyboard navigation support;
screen reader compatibility;
text alternatives for non-text content;
adequate colour contrast and resizable text;
captioning or transcripts for audio and video content; and
error identification and clear instructions and forms.
8. We consider accessibility at all times during the design, development, testing and updates to our Services.
9. Some content or functionality may be provided by third-party platforms of vendors. While we do not control all third-party content, we make reasonable efforts to select vendors and third parties that facilitate accessibility, encourage accessibility improvements and provide alternatives where appropriate and feasible.
10. We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our Services and if you encounter any barriers or have any suggestions, please contact us at enquiries@takepointfitness.com.
We aim to respond to all requests in a timely manner.
11. While we strive to make all digital content accessible, some older content or specialised content may not fully meet current standards. We assess such limitations and prioritise remediation based on impact and feasibility.
Monitoring and Implementation
12. This policy shall be monitored and reviewed at least annually.
